Le mat\u00e9riau est formul\u00e9 pour r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir la majeure partie du rayonnement solaire au lieu de l\u2019absorber, ce qui permet aux surfaces de rester plus fra\u00eeches que l\u2019air ambiant \u2014 m\u00eame en journ\u00e9e chaude. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un ciment structurel (peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 pour murs, toitures, rev\u00eatements), avec des tests montrant qu\u2019il peut rester environ <strong>5,4 \u00b0C<\/strong> plus frais que l\u2019air \u00e0 ~13-14 h sur un toit expos\u00e9.
